Community grants scheme
From 2004-2013, our Community Grants Scheme has provided $1.5 million to over 520 community groups in Queensland.
Each year we provide funding for not-for-profit groups across Queensland as part of our Community Grants Scheme. This scheme aims to provide support to not-for-profit and community groups across Queensland.
Queensland Country understands that not-for-profit groups play a large role in the development of a community, and that it can be difficult for these small organisations to self-fund activities and services. Queensland Country's Community Grants scheme aims to offset costs for projects which provide ongoing benefit to the community.
Our Community Grants are provided for programs in the following funding categories:
- Arts, culture and heritage
- Sport and recreation (where the activity benefits the whole community)
- Education
- Health
- The environment
