Balance Transfers
If you have other credit cards and would like to transfer the balance of these to your Queensland Country Visa Credit card to take advantage of our competitive interest rate or our Rewards program, just provide your latest credit card statement to our branch staff and we will arrange the transfer. Or you can simply login to our internet banking and complete a BPay payment.

Credit Card Rewards Program

Some rewards programs can be frustrating… where you’re forced to choose from a particular set of rewards like toasters and cheap wine.

So we didn’t want to be like everyone else and we made our Rewarder program different. When you make purchases you accumulate Rewards points. You can then redeem your points at any EFTPOS terminal in Australia where these points are used as cash to make a purchase on anything you want… a book, iPod, dinner at a nice restaurant or even your weekly fuel.

It’s a great rewards program with a low annual fee.

A quick example…
Let’s say you spend $2,000 a month on groceries, bills, gifts, holidays etc… so this means you earn 2,000 rewards points a month. At the end of the year you would have accumulated 24,000 Rewarder points, which means you will have $160 cash to spend on whatever you like. The annual fee to have Rewarder is $58.

So basically, if you spend more than $725 a month… you would have earned enough points to pay for the annual fee.

Credit Card Security
Your Queensland Country Visa Credit card offers a convenient way to pay for just about anything, but there are some important steps to take to ensure only you enjoy the benefits of your credit card.

Keep your card in a safe place
Sign your card as soon as you receive it
Don’t let anyone know your PIN number or your internet banking password
Ensure you check the amount you are signing for when making a purchase
Make sure you watch the merchant when they are swiping your card and make sure your card does not leave your sight
If you are making purchases over the internet, only use secure sites
