Queensland Country is tackling climate change one car at a time as one of only a handful of financial institutions supporting Queenslanders to purchase environmentally friendly vehicles at a reduced interest rate.
Our Eco Smart Car Loan is available for any new car that achieves a Greenhouse Rating of 6.5 or higher. To determine the Greenhouse Rating of your vehicle, just search for your new car on www.greenvehicleguide.gov.au.

Free Climate Smart Home Service
With every Eco Smart Car Loan taken out, Queensland Country will supply you with a voucher to receive a free Climate Smart Home Service. This service normally costs $50 but is valued at $450. The Climate Smart Home Service helps you identify where you're wasting power in your home, and cut down on your power bills.
Taking advantage of this Climate Smart Home Service can help you save up to $325 a year on energy and water bills. In addition to the benefits you'll receive from reduced energy bills, the biggest benefits will be felt by the environment - this service can save a total of up to 20 tonnes of greenhouse gases, the equivalent to taking a car off the road for four years. This offer is valid for as long as the Climate Smart Home Service is provided by the Government.
Discount on Car Insurance
When you apply for an Eco Smart Car Loan, we will provide a 5% discount on car insurance taken out with us for the first 12 months of any new policy.

If you're ready to purchase your environmentally friendly vehicle, you can apply for our Eco Smart Car Loan by visiting any of our branches, by downloading a copy of our loan application and delivering it to us or mailing it to us, or by applying online.
