Queensland Country runs 23 branches throughout Queensland stretching as far north as Weipa, south to Stanthorpe and west to Mount Isa. Our people take care of the financial needs of almost 53,000 Members. At Queensland Country, people matter most, which is why we focus on helping the communities in which we operate, just as much as the families and individulas who trust us with their finances.

Queensland Country is also a mutual organisation, which means we answer to our Members as our owners not external shareholders. That is why our service satisfaction ratings are consistenlty among the highest in the industry.

The Credit Union began in 1971 in Mount Isa as a Credit Union for Mount Isa Mines Employees. During the 1980s and 1990s Queensland Country expanded into North Queensland before eventually opening membership to all Australian residents.
