Queensland Country Credit Union operates 22 branches throughout Queensland stretching as far north as Weipa, south to Stanthorpe and west to Mount Isa, serving the financial needs of almost 55,000 Members.  Queensland Country prides itself on being 'Queensland Country' based, with Head Office in Townsville.

Queensland Country is a mutual organisation owned by its Members.  As such, it has a clear focus on making a positive contribution to the lives of its Members and the communities they live in.  One such example is the Credit Union's Community Grants Scheme which started in 2004.  Since its inception, Queensland Country has provided over $1.1million to help 411 community groups in Queensland.

Queensland Country Credit Union began in 1971 in Mount Isa as a Credit Union for MIM Employees.  During the 1980s and 1990s Queensland Country expanded into North Queensland before eventually opening membership to all Australian residents.
