Making withdrawals

Bank Drafts & Bank Cheques We can arrange bank drafts or bank cheques for you if you need a bank cheque in a foreign currency or simply for someone in Australia.
Bank@Post Bank@Post is a a service provided by Australia Post which allows you to undertake a variety of financial transactions on your Queensland Country accounts at Australia Post outlets.
BPay BPay is an electronic payment system that allows you to pay your bills directly from internet banking, our phone service, or over the counter at our branches, to billers who participate in BPay. Just look on your bills for the Biller code and reference number.
CueCard Our CueCard provides access to your money through ATMs and EFTPOS locations. You can make purchases at retailers by using your PIN and can also withdraw cash at ATMs.
Cheque Book We offer 25 leaf cheque books for a small fee.
Direct Debit Money can be withdrawn from your account by other institutions that you authorise to do so, such as private health companies, mobile phone providers, fitness clubs, insurance companies and the like. If you provide them with your account details at the Credit Union they will be able to withdraw the sum you are required to pay without you having to worry about remembering due dates. They will need our BSB which is 704 640 as well as your Member number and name.

Foreign Currency & Cash Passport We can arrange for foreign currency or a Cash Passport card for you if you plan on traveling overseas. We can provide banknotes for over 35 countries in a variety of denominations. The Cash Passport is a pre-paid, PIN protected card that enables you to obtain local currency from overseas ATMs. We act as an agent for Travelex for this service along with other third party providers.
Periodical Payments A periodical payment can be set up to regularly transfer a particular amount of money to a particular account whether it be within Queensland Country Credit Union or to another financial institution. This can be done very easily through internet banking or simply by contacting us to arrange.
Phone banking See phone banking
Staff Assisted You can access money from your accounts with us simply by visiting any of our 22 branches throughout Queensland.
Sweep Facility An insufficient funds sweep facility automatically transfers available funds into a nominated primary account from a related account if there are insufficient funds to cover a direct debit or cheque from your primary account.
Telegraphic Transfer We can arrange for electronic transfers to a third party overseas (or within Australia) at your request. For more information about Telegraphic Transfers and Drafts please see this Travelex information sheet.

Making Deposits

Bank Transfer You can easily deposit money into your account with us simply by using the internet banking service of any other financial institution that you use.
Cash / Cheque You can make any cash or cheque deposits at your local branch. With regards to cheque deposits, only cheques made payable to the same name as your account can be accepted.
Direct Credit

From a third party
Money can be automatically deposited into your account by a third party. All you have to do is provide them with our BSB which is 704 640, and your Member number and name.

From your own account
On your behalf, we can also deposit money into your account with us by withdrawing it from an account at another financial institution (held in your name). This quick and easy service can be arranged simply by contacting us.

From your employer
Your employer can also deposit some or all of your salary/wages directly into your account each pay day. All you have to do is provide them with our BSB which is 704 640, and your Member number and name.
