Registering for CU Online
Simply visit your local branch or call us on 1800 075 078 and we’ll provide you with your unique eclient number to get you started with internet banking.
Internet banking security
Your personal information can only be obtained by you through the use of a personal access code. When you first obtain your access code from one of our staff, you have 24 hours to login to internet banking. If you don’t login during this time, the code will be de-activated to help keep your accounts safe.
Make sure you click the exit or log off button in CU Online once you have finished your banking to ensure no one accesses your accounts. If your screen remains idle for 20 minutes, the system will automatically log you off.
SMS Authentication and Alerts
Using SMS security is the most secure way to manage external transfers. It is easy. When using SMS security, a text message will be sent to a nominated mobile phone number. This text message will contain a password that needs to be entered into internet banking before the external transfer can be completed.
We will only send an SMS in certain circumstances, for example, the first time you transfer over the pre-set floor limit to a new BSB and account number. Once the BSB and account combination is verified by the SMS password, they will become a “trusted” destination and won’t require SMS verification again.
