The next significant milestone in our merger with Queenslanders Credit Union will occur on 4 August 2018 when the banking systems of the two organisations are amalgamated. Having the two organisations operating on the same computer system will truly bring our two organisation together as one and will allow Queensland Country members to access the four Queenslanders branches in south east Queensland.

The database amalgamation will not have a major impact on Queensland Country Members. All your accounts, fees and access to your money will remain unchanged.

Please note, however, that any branches that are usually open on Saturday mornings will be closed on Saturday 4 August. We apologise for any inconvenience this interruption may cause and encourage you to plan ahead to ensure any negative impact is minimised.

While we will operate a single banking system from 4 August, we will retain Queenslanders Credit Union as a trading name of Queensland Country and existing Queenslanders Credit Union branches will continue to trade under that brand for a period of time.

As a result, you may start to see the Queenslanders logo alongside the existing Queensland Country one in some dealings you have with us. For example, from 4 August, you will see both logos when you log in to internet banking and both brands will be mentioned when you call phone banking.

Please rest assured that the service you are using will be exactly the same as it was prior to this change – we have just added the additional logo as part of bringing our two Credit Unions together.

As always, our friendly contact centre team are available on 1800 075 078 to assist with any questions you may have.
