Thank you to Members who have already switched to our new BSB 654 000. We understand there has been considerable effort on your part to make the necessary changes. Your prompt attention to this is greatly appreciated.

SmartBudget and Business Banking Members have until 31 July 2023 to switch to BSB 654 000.

It is important to note that from 1 August 2023, our former BSB will no longer work. To avoid any inconvenience, it is important that you act now and make the switch prior to 31 July 2023. Members who have not made the switch will not receive payments or have direct debits honoured under our former BSB after this date. Our aim is to ensure that we don’t have Members in this position.

This round of improvements will pave the way for us to bring Members a more superior banking experience into the future, with benefits such as:

  • Better ways to manage your cards in the banking app and internet banking
  • More digital wallet options including Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay
  • Increased access to real time transfers to and from other banks
  • New credit card loyalty rewards program ‘My Rewards’ launched in November 2022
  • Numerous fee reductions introduced in November 2022

Throughout the rollout of our Banking Improvements Program, we have been absolutely committed to supporting our Members. Since May 2022 we have taken a number of steps to assist, including:

  • Employing additional contact centre staff
  • Extending our contact centre opening hours
  • Up-skilling existing team members
  • Assigning dedicated specialists across our branch network
  • Asking our staff to complete their own banking changes, so they understand first-hand how to best assist Members
  • Providing Members with regular reminders on payments that need updating via text message, personalised transaction checklists and phone calls from our branch and contact centre teams.
